Brian Pelski

Brian has more than 25 years of self-storage experience to The Storage Group. He has over 15 years of expertise in development, operations, ownership, and asset management as an executive with an affiliated company of an international, publicly-traded, self-storage Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT). For over 5 years, he was a commercial real estate appraiser. He worked on feasibility analysis and valuations of new and developed self-storage facilities. Brian was as an executive for a self-storage development construction company. He is a Member of the Appraisal Institute and Certified Commercial Investment Member. He has an active Real Estate License.

Steve Lucas

Steve had his first successful start-up at the age of 25. In his 35 year career, he held many business development and leadership roles. Steve's most important business goals are strong growth and high client satisfaction. Steve was awarded “Person of The Year” by the Florida Swimming Pool Association, twice. Steve has held several executive leadership roles, such as Chamber Board of Directors and multiple government relation positions. Steve approaches business with efficiency and works to build long-lasting relationships.

Joyce Hanks

Joyce Hanks graduated from The University of Alabama with a degree in Finance. She is the Accounting and Human Resources Manager. She worked with the First Union National Bank for 7 years. In that role, Joyce was the Assistant Manager. She managed and developed the staff, as well as handled daily operations. Joyce was a Manager of Administration for 5 years at Allegis Group, a technology staffing company. At Allegis, Joyce handled office management, and managed customer service staff, human resources, and payroll. She helped to open, staff, and manage 5 new offices in the Central Florida/Melbourne region. She then became the Regional Manager for 10 offices in 7 states. Joyce supports customer service, manages costs and revenue, and helps to create a positive work environment.

Jill Baker worked as a National Account Manager in the financial industry for 22 years. She focused on the top 10% of clients nationwide. Jill’s clients had over $400,000,000 in assets under management. For over 20 years, Jill has worked in sales, customer satisfaction, and customer retention. Jill loves to solve client challenges with integrity and thorough communication.

Bessie Haddaway

Bessie has a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from the University of Central Florida. She is skilled in email marketing, social media marketing, copywriting, and more. She has written lengthy articles, white papers, and case studies for the self storage industry. When she isn't working, she enjoys watching movies, traveling, trying new restaurants, and attending local events.

Brad Hernandez

For the past 15 years, Brad has used his programming and troubleshooting knowledge as a Developer to enhance website and web app usability at a variety of businesses and non-profit organizations. He is an expert at all sorts of skills such as Troubleshooting, Project Management, Serverside Troubleshooting, API integrations, WordPress Customization and a myriad of other talents. Brad has a Bachelor's degree in Digital Art & Design from Full Sail University. When he is not working, he is enjoying one of the many beaches around Central Florida.

Paul Bowers

Paul Bowers has more than 15 years of design experience working for some of the largest companies in the US and abroad, including NBC, McGraw Hill and Merlin Entertainment. Paul’s web design and development experience includes managing multi-million dollar e-commerce sites, designing for business start-ups, and writing secure systems to protect sensitive information. Prior to working with The Storage Group, Paul was a graphic journalist in the UK. He moved to the US in 2004 to further his media career. With the shift toward the web in the news industry, Paul learned firsthand how technology influences today’s marketplaces, and redirected his focus from information presentation to web development. He set up his own company in 2006 before joining TSG in early 2012. Paul holds a BA (Hons) in Media and Design from Portsmouth University in the UK.

Mariana Bermudez

Mariana is a Computer Engineer. For the past 5 years, Mariana has used her programming, database management, and coding skills with a variety of organizations in Venezuela and Panama. She created new systems in HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, Javascript, JQuery, C #, JAVA, and SQL, utilizing responsive technologies. When she is not working, Mariana is enjoying time with her family throughout the state of Florida.

Richard McQuiston

Richard McQuiston is a self taught computer programmer and web developer with over 20 years experience. He is also experienced with developing applications for iOS and Android. Richard is a graduate of Valencia College and Technical Education Center of Osceola with multiple technical certificates. When Richard is not busy at work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and family.

Brian Strasburg

Brian is the latest addition to our Developer team in the Tech department. Brian brings over 10 years experience to TSG with a strong technical skill-set including: developing high quality website designs, performing extensive browser testing, writing web pages using a combination of markup languages and creating data driven web apps. When Brian isn’t working, he is spending quality time with his wife and daughter going for hikes, four wheeling, watching the Packers and tinkering with his classic car.

Jody Mann

Jody Mann is the Search Marketing Manager and Community Giving Coordinator at The Storage Group. In September 2016, Jody attended the SMX – Search Marketing Expo along with other SEO professionals from around the world. She graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing. Jody has experience in web design & development. While developing websites, she acquired a passion for SEO. Jody has four years of experience in search engine optimization, two of which were within the storage industry. In her spare time, Jody enjoys music, movies,and spending time outdoors.

Jennifer Winston

Jennifer Winston is part of the SEO Team. In a previous marketing position within the storage industry, Jennifer worked with Google AdWords, Google Analytics, Constant Contact, social media and basic SEO strategies. Her diverse experience also includes customer service and photography. Jennifer has also worked with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and web development. Jennifer received a Bachelor's degree in Business Marketing plus a Services Marketing Certificate from the University of Central Florida. Denise Lucas has over 20 years in customer relations and account management experience. Denise utilizes her skills to create relationships that last. She was a partner in an award winning high end Construction Company that successfully sold in 2009. Denise has a passion to meet and understand the needs of business owners and takes a leading role in developing solutions to meet their needs. When not working she can be found spending time with her 4 dogs, children, and husband of 28 years.

Lynn Lloyd

Lynn is no stranger to customer service excellence, bringing 30 years of experience to the team. First, as an office manager for an internationally traded paper company. In that position, she oversaw staff, accounting, and coordinated orders and shipping. Next, she was a custom graphic designer for a thriving company on the Space Coast of Florida. In her free time, she enjoys camping and spending time with her wonderful husband. She also enjoys feeding her creativity with woodworking projects.

Marlene Cotto

Marlene has recently joined our team as a member of the Client Performance Strategy Team. She has over 10 years of customer service experience and 3 years in production management. She loves to work with people, and making sure that they prosper comes naturally to her. She is working towards her B.S in Psychology, along with a minor in Philosophy. Marlene relishes constructive thinking, surpassing expectations, and of course, building long term relationships. Outside of work, she enjoys hands-on projects and spending as much time at the beach as possible with her son and husband.

Stevie Harris received her Bachelor's degree from Colorado State University. She worked in Association Management for multiple years, concentrating on professional education and license compliance. Stevie managed programs and committees to improve and retain association members. She enjoys creating new processes and streamlining current procedures to help business perform efficiently. In another role with a corporate company, she developed and managed training programs, e-learning programs, and developed a new platform for company-wide use. Stevie loves problem-solving and achieving results for companies of all sizes.

Jenni is a skilled member of the Creative Team. She has over a decade of expertise in marketing, design, writing, and content development. She has had many different roles with a Women's Small Business Association, start-ups, lifestyle magazines, and a community-based, non for profit arts organization. She has experience with web development and print media. When she isn't working, she enjoys spending time with family and working on creative projects.

Kerri-Ann is a Developer at The Storage Group. She attends Seminole State College where she is pursuing a degree in computer programming. Kerri-Ann works with the Creative team on client self storage websites. She brings 4 years of customer service experience to The Storage Group. In her free time, she likes to participate in recreational soccer competitions, watch sports with her husband, and spend time with friends.

Sarah Baker

Sarah is attends the Metropolitan State University of Denver. She will graduate in 2018. Her role as a Project Coordinator Administrator involves significant coordination between different departments for various company projects. Outside of work, Sarah loves to exercise and spend time in the great outdoors.

Britt Johnson

Britt is The Storage Group's ADA Compliance Manager and Developer. Some of her projects include creating new website themes that are ADA compliant, educating others about ADA compliance for technology, and implementing Level A ADA compliance for current client websites. She majored in Library and Information Science for her Master's degree and Journalism for her Bachelor's degree.
